CollBox is looking for an Account Executive to help the 28 million small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the US who struggle with getting paid for their work. CollBox is rapidly accelerating customer engagement with our recent funding. As Account Executive, you will manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, qualification, closing, and onboarding. You have a tireless work ethic, drive, and commitment to succeed as well as demonstrated history of consistent quota attainment, allowing us to scale rapidly in recovering the $150B that’s written off every year by SMBs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define and manage an end-to-end inside sales cycle, from cold call to close; including scheduling and facilitating online product demonstrations and closing your own deals
  • Source opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails by pitching CollBox 
  • Independently manage a pipeline with multiple prospects, utilizing HubSpot to track progress
  • Play a key role in building CollBox by studying our market, noting competition and identifying potential sales opportunities
  • Develop and use sales materials, including presentations and professional emails
  • Follow up with existing clients when needed to ensure success and grow existing business

Who We Think Will Be Successful

  • Minimum of two years experience in a B2B full sales cycle role, including prospecting, developing, and closing deals
  • Solution-selling mindset, coupled with a clear willingness to participate in (and sometimes drive) post-sales activities to ensure client success
  • Eager to partner with executives to build new processes for an early-stage company
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency with modern sales technology
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated history of attaining quota
  • Demonstrated comfort in a rapidly changing and sometimes undefined sales role
  • Knowledge of SMB finance or accounting technology preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
